Week beginning 7th January
This week I have created my blogger account and started to design so that my blog would be a proffesional standard. I have done this to make my work accessible by loading it all onto one blog.
Week Beginning 14th January
I have started to analyse magazine front covers, double page spreads and contents page's from big established magazine companies. by doing this, i gained the knowledge and awareness of how large companies manufacture their business
Week Beginning 21st January
This week i started to research into my magazine audience. This was so i could find out what type of music genre magazine they would like, the age group etc.
I did this through a questionaire i created on surveymonkey, as soon as i recieved my
replies i anaylsed all of the answers and was usually a unanimous vote.
This gave me an idea of how i could create my magazine and the style of it.
Week Beginning 28th January
This week i started to design my drafts for my magazine, i had to take into account all my research such as other music magazines and my own research.
I started on my front cover this week and just drafted how i would like my final piece to look.
Week Beginning 4th February
This week i am going to start on my DPS and my contents page, by the end of the week these will both be complete and i will have all drafts finished. by drafting up all pages gives me the main idea of what my magazine will look like.
Week beginning 11th February
I started to take test shots this week experimenting with different images of the model i used throughout my magazine. We used different backgrounds and lighting. also i experimented in different poses and shot types. these shots will give me my idea of how i would like my images to look.
Week Beginning 18th February
This week i took my final photos for my magazine, usuing appropiate props which go with my genre of magazine. The makeup and wardrobe for these photos fitted in well with the unique and contemporary style of my magazine.
Week beginning 25th February
This week i started on my final front cover, i wanted to make it stand out. I started to desgin it on photoshop using my knowledge from the magazine research i done on a few magazines but got most of my inspiration from CLASH magazine.
I also done more work on my DPS and contents page.
Week Beginning 4th March
this week i done my evaluation on my magazine and talked about why i did certain things and looked back at all my work and my research and analysed it all.
